Smiling English Teacher Leaning on Blue Wall

Welcome Friend!

My name is Becca and I am so honored that you are here! I am a literature-loving boy mom who has been teaching high school English for over ten years.  Armed with flair pens and coffee, I love my students and creating a new curriculum for them to keep these demanding high schoolers engaged and excited. In fact, I enjoy curriculum designing so much that I rewrite my lessons and units every semester.

We all have that reason why we are in teaching. You know that passion that fuels your fire: maybe it’s classroom organization, student relationships, or content sharing. Instead of stressing about what you are teaching tomorrow, I want to help you focus on why you love what you do.

Teaching asks so much of us and I know you sacrifice so much of yourself to make your classroom an awesome space for your kiddos. But maybe you don’t have to give all of your heart and soul every day, night, and weekend. Maybe you could let me take on some of that burden for you.

Curriculum writing may not be your favorite or you may feel overwhelmed by the choices, the options, the standards, and the end results needed when designing a unit. I’m here to help you plan, prepare, and implement ELA resources resources that align with Common Core standards, provide rigor in reading and writing, and engage your students in an exciting way. To me, that’s thinking smart, not hard and that’s what I’m all about! Let’s get started!
